Alternative Diets

1 Jul 2021

Over the last few months, we’ve been exploring the world of ‘Alternative Diets’, and why people change their eating habits.

In this paper, we explain our NeedDriver Mapping methodology and explore six segment solutions, which describe the needs and motivations underlying the alternative diet space.

These are:

  1. Innovative experiences that bring people together
  2. Unlocking intrinsic nutritional benefits
  3. Engaging with more natural lifestyles
  4. Keeping your body (and mind) strong and healthy
  5. Making tough dietary needs simple and enjoyable
  6. Discovering and enjoying great food

We also use these segments to illustrate the rich and diverse ways that brands can connect in the space.
